This camp is open to students who have at least one year of playing experience. The maximum age/experience level is those who have just completed 8th Grade.

THIS IS NOT JUST FOR LYS STUDENTS, SO GRAB A FRIEND AND COME HAVE SOME FUN!
Students will spend three days putting together a program of fun and exciting concert music for band or orchestra! Students will also get the opportunity to play in a combined "Symphony Orchestra" piece as well. Activities will include music rehearsals, sectionals, and camp games (no intense physical activity).
The cost for this 3-Day Mini Camp is $50 total.
Students should plan to bring their instrument (sticks/mallets for percussion students), music, a water bottle, and a snack each day.
Music will be emailed to students/parents prior to camp beginning so that they can start practicing before camp begins.
The camp schedule is as follows:
Friday June 28th-5:30pm to 8:00pm
Saturday June 29th-1:00pm to 6:00pm
Sunday June 30th-1:00pm to 5:00pm, concert begins at 6pm
All camp events will take place at UCC Longmont (across the street from LHS).

Online ticket sales close at 12:00pm the day of the concert. After that time, please purchase your concert tickets at the door.

We've partnered with Print Your Cause, an on-demand printing company serving non-profits. We've setup a small store to get started, and hope to offer more items in the coming months.
We've created a selection of t-shirts and hoodies to show off the LYS. And a portion of each purchase comes back to the LYS to fund our programs!
